My practice is focused on providing personalized, responsive legal services (a) to seniors, (b) to individuals and veterans with special needs or disabilities and their families: (c) to individuals with small (under 2 million dollars) estates, (d) to not-for-profit agencies, and (e) to healthcare practitioners in private practice. My goal is to provide smaller clients with the same personalized service which large clients expect from a large firm, but at a significantly lower cost.
My practice areas include:
Elder Law - including Medicare, Medical Assistance, SSDI, SSI, other retirement benefits, elder abuse, nursing home issues, and guardianships,
Special Needs Law - including estate planning for special needs, special needs trusts, guardianships, and public benefits,
Social Security - including SSI, SSDI, retirement benefits, and family benefits
Veterans Benefits - including compensation claims, pension claims, and dependency and indemnity claims,
Estate planning - including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, titling of assets, and probate
Not for Profit Agencies - including incorporation, tax exempt status, compliance with government regulations, and governance, and
Business Law for small healthcare providers including social workers, counselors, psychologists, speech therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and doctors.
Because I recognize that mobility can be difficult for some individuals I am pleased to meet with clients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes within 15 miles of our Olney office.
