Wills
One important part of your estate plan is your will. There are many reasons for making a will including: (1) making sure your assets are distributed in accordance with your wishes, (2) making sure that the assets you leave behind are used for the benefit of those you are most concerned about, (3) providing for the care of minors including naming a guardian for your minor children, (4) having the opportunity to name the Personal Representative who will implement the provisions of your will and (5) facilitating the process of settling and implementing the terms of your estate plan which is called the Probate process.
I will work with you to make sure that I understand your goals, and to write a will that achieves your goals while minimizing the taxes that will have to be paid on your estate.
