Fees

No Charge for initial consultation lasting up to 15 minutes. The goal of the free initial consultation is (1) to help you to determine whether I am the appropriate attorney to assist you with your needs, and (2) to help me to determine whether I have the training and experience to effectively assist you. The free initial consultation may be done in person or on the telephone. Since I will just be learning about your legal issues,  the free initial consultation is not designed to provide you with legal advice or to begin work on your matter. If we agree that I can be of assistance I will ask you to sign an engagement letter and, in most cases, to make a deposit to be held in my Attorney Trust Account. The deposit to my Attorney Trust Account may be made using a credit card. Any work done after that on your matter will be billed. Any money remaining in my Attorney Trust Account after we have concluded working together will be refunded to you.

My usual fee is $250 per hour for lawyer time, plus expenses (mileage, postage, photocopying, etc.) related to your matter. I only bill you for actual time spent on your matter.

Reduced fees may be available for individuals with limited income.
If you would like to be considered for a reduced fee please be sure to make your request during our initial consultation.

Payments

Payments may be made by check or by credit card.

Master Card, Visa and American Express are accepted.

If you have questions about payments please call me at 301-570-6057 or e-mail me at br@raiche-law.com.
